En el Capítulo 27, leíste la obra de teatro El delantal blanco, de Sergio Vodanovic. En esta obra, hay muchas referencias a la posición que la señora y la empleada tienen en la sociedad. Por ejemplo, la señora le dice a la empleada: "Yo tengo plata, tú no tienes. Ésa es toda la diferencia entre nosotras". La señora habla también de su "lugar" y el "lugar" de la empleada, y explica en otra parte que "una empleada en la playa se sienta siempre un poco más atrás que su patrona".



Esta distinción entre la señora y la empleada se refiere al concepto de clase. ¿Sabes lo que significa "clase social"? ¿Por qué crees que la empleada actúa como la señora después de cambiar de vestido? y ¿Por qué se puede considerar esta obra un comentario social?

Uno de los temas de Botero son las corridas de toros. Dice Botero: "Es una de las actividades que más se presta a ser pintada. Las imágenes, siempre poderosas, y el color están ahí. La corrida, en cierto modo, se pinta sola. El pintor no tiene que inventar el color, los movimientos, la poesía. Todo, absolutamente todo, te lo dan en la plaza.
