Si has leido el cuento "el arbol de oro" (p 152-173), piensa en Ivo, la torrecita, el arbol de oro y lo que le sucede al final. Lee de nuevo el poema "Despedida" y cambialo como si el poeta fuera Ivo. Por ejemplo, si Ivo fuera el poeta, Que quisiera que dejaran abierto? Que veria desde alli? Que sentiria? Escribe el poema de nuevo con los cambios que tu crees que Ivo haria.

Proyecto # 3
Español 4 Proyecto # 3 Due/Deadline Monday, March 28
Think about the events that occurred during the stories “La viuda de Montiel” and “Cartas de amor traicionado,” and think about the characters. Imagine that after everything that has happened in the stories, a television channel invites some of the characters to be interviewed on a talk show. Each group will create an interview in a talk show style that they will record. The video should have the “feel” of a talk show.
Here are the characters (Each group may not have all characters, or some people may play double roles:
For “La viuda de Montiel”
The widow Montiel
The daughter of Montiel
The son of Montiel
Carmichael, the family servant for many years
A person living in the town who experienced Montiel’s influence over the town during his lifetime.
Talk Show Host
For “Cartas de amor traicionado”
Analía Torres
Uncle Eugenio Torres
La Madre Superiora – Mother Superior (Head nun)
Luís Torres (Remember, he dies during the story so he can’t be a guest)
Analía and Luís’ son
The son’s teacher (also an old friend of Luis Torres)
Talk Show Host
Possible topics to discuss:
The events that occurred in the story
Feelings over the events that occurred
Feelings different characters have about the other characters and why – may also include examples of behaviors that prompt these feelings
Feelings about the outcomes of the story
Any “inside scoops” – these can be an extension of the story – reasonable outcomes or events that could possibly have occurred given what we know in each story.

El Centro español de Washington y la
Embajada de España convocan, una vez más, su Concurso Anual de Redacción para estudiantes de High School en el área
metroplitana de Washington. Como probablemente sepa por ediciones anteriores,
este concurso forma parte de un extenso programa destinado a promover el
interés y el conocimiento de España, su lengua y su cultura entre los alumnos
de español como lengua extranjera
Las bases de esta XV Convocatoria son las
siguientes:
● Se establecen dos grupos. Los estudiantes
en cuyas familias se hable español o que hayan vivido más de un año en un país
de habla hispana formarán el primer grupo. El resto de los participantes se
considerarán del grupo dos
● Podrán participar todos los estudiantes de
High School del area metropolitana que estén matriculados en Español 3 o
cursos superiores de esta lengua
● Los trabajos, escritos en español, no deberan
sobrepasar las 400 palabras y habrán de incluir el nombre del estudiante,
el grupo al que pertenecen, el curso de
español en el que están matriculados, el nombre de la escuela a la que
pertenece el alumno, así como el nombre y la dirección del correo electrónico
del profesor. El alumno podrá utilizar citas a pié de página para reseñar las
fuentes de información consultadas.
● La fecha límite para la recepción de
originales será el 15 de abril del 2014
a las 24,00 horas en el Centro Español de Washington , 9104 Cranford Drive.

Se
otorgarán tres premios para cada uno de los grupos, dotados con $250, $200 y
$150 respectivamente. Los premiados
recibirán un Certificado de Apreciación del Centro Español y la Embajada de
España.
El
tema es abierto. El único requisito es que trate de algún aspecto cultural,
histórico o científico de España. Se sugieren, como guía para los trabajos los
siguientes títulos: “El impacto del mundo árabe en España”, “Nadal, el
resurgimiento de un ganador” y “El Camino de Santiago”.
